First Ever Developer Tour in Redmond

First Ever Developer Tour in Redmond

In an effort to respond to the lack of industrial space, which is significantly outpaced by demand, REDI hosted the first ever Developer Tour in late June.

Developers from Central Oregon and the Willamette Valley attended the event to learn about present market conditions, available land, infrastructure investments, and the opportunities for development, as demonstrated by our team at City Hall.

Mayor George Endicott opened the event and other department heads shared the City's commitment to a proactive, efficient and business-friendly experience.

The event provided REDI an opportunity to educate the group on the fact that demand for industrial land is far outpacing the supply. Outcomes included building relationships with developers and identifying partners who would be interested in build-to-suit projects to help those companies that are looking to move, start or grow in our community.

REDI Sr. Manager Jon Stark noted, "We are so excited to have had the turnout we did and the interest brought forth as a result of the tour.  Many new relationships were forged and we will continue to work with the development community to help with the shortage of available space. We couldn't have done it without Francis Hansen & Martin's sponsorship".
