I wanted to let you all know about a program we at Fortis Construction in partnership with Facebook are rolling out to the community. The program is called Hard Hats In Hand.
This could be a great fit for anyone interested in a career in the trades. The first 4 weeks they are hired by Fortis Construction and the second 4 weeks they are hired by one of our trade partners. REI, TCM, WPI and Fortis Self Perform are all committed to hiring individuals out of this first cohort. The application is live on the Fortis Construction website. Although the application is with Fortis, those interested would be able to interview with the trade they are most interested in working in.
Our first information session is being held in Prineville on Wednesday August 18th at COCC.
