RDD Enterprises’ LX7 Aircraft Sets a New Record

In March, pilot Paul Hodge and co-pilot Laird Hamilton climbed in the LX7 personal aircraft and flew from Redmond to Anchorage, Alaska, setting a new, all-time “high” in only six hours. Hodge’s average airspeed was nearly 269 mph even with unfavorable winds during the journey. On the return trip home, it only took 5.5 hours with an average speed of 317 mph even breaking his own record. Hodge noted: “It is even more incredible that I had enough fuel left on the return flight to continue all the way to LA if I wanted to.” Continue reading this Redmond Spokesman article for more about the LX7’s breakthrough voyage.

Developed here in Redmond, Oregon, the LX7 personal aircraft incorporates modern design, modern all-carbon fiber structural materials and modern construction techniques. The LX7 comes in two models, the LX7 Piston and the LX7-20 Turboprop. These aircrafts promise an advanced flying experience in a whole different stratosphere and challenges all other aircraft for speed, efficiency and low operation cost.
