Ridgeview High School

Public Schools

Redmond School District (RSD) serves over 7,000 students across a 550 square mile area, including Redmond and nearby communities. The district operates eight elementary schools, two middle schools, two high schools, and one dual language elementary school, with an online K-12 program providing access to rigorous courses and district resources. RSD emphasizes Career and Technical Education, preparing students with real-world skills.

Private Schools

Redmond is home to three private, faith-based schools: Central Christian School (Preschool through Grade 12), St. Thomas Academy (Preschool through Grade 5), and Sonshine Christian School at Redmond Community Church (Preschool through Kindergarten). Additionally, there are three other private schools: Start Here Preschool, Evergreen Academy (Private Kindergarten), and Foresight Learning Center (serving children ages 6 weeks to 10 years old).

OSU CASCADES

With a brand-new campus, OSU-Cascades opened in Bend in 2016, fulfilling a 30-year effort to establish a four-year university in Central Oregon. The 10-acre campus offers 16 undergraduate and four graduate degrees, including unique programs in energy systems engineering, tourism and outdoor leadership, and hospitality management. Enrollment is expected to grow to 3,000 to 5,000 students by 2025, providing educational opportunities for students from Oregon and beyond.

CENTRAL OREGON COMMUNITY COLLEGE - REDMOND

The COCC Redmond Campus sits on 25-acres near the Redmond Airport. This campus includes four buildings to serve students with a variety of career programs, educational opportunities and transfer eligible classes. This past year, approximately 6,649 students enrolled in one or more credit classes in Redmond. In addition to the wide range of services and college courses offered to students, COCC’s Redmond Campus is home to the region’s Manufacturing and Applied Technology Center, a 26,000-square-foot technical training facility with certificate and degree programs readying students for jobs in the manufacturing field.
